- Small PCB CAD kban - Operation Manual
- kban version 2.0.0 beta 39 Copyright (C) 1997 Kazutaka Hirata
- ----------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- 1. Abstract
-
- Thank you for downloading kban. The program is for those who wish to
- design small PCBs but cannot afford to buy expensive commercial CAD.
- kban has the following characteristics.
-
- o Has intuitive operation
- o Runs quickly
- o Can be used freely
-
- Even though the program does not have complex functions, such as a
- DRC (Design Rule Check), the intuitive operationality of kban will
- release you from a procedure of a pencil and an erase, which is most
- likely dirty.

- 2. Running Environment
-
- ---------+------------------
- Machine | PC/AT Compatible
- CPU | 486DX or Higher
- OS | Windows 95/NT
- ---------+------------------
-
- 3. Installation
-
- After extracting the archive, place mfc42.dll and msvcrt.dll, which
- are packed in mfc42eng.exe, under the directory where kban.exe exists.
-
- If you use kban on the regular basis, it is a good idea to place a
- "Short Cut" on your desktop. Of course, you can place kban.exe and its
- related files directly on your desktop instead.
-
- 4. Uninstallation
-
- Just delete the files you got when you extracted the archive of kban.

-
- Just double-click kban on Explorer.
-
- 7. Basic Concepts
-
- What you can do with kban is, of course, to design a PCB and to
- ouput the design on some form. The design consists of the following
- three elements.
-
- - Pin
- - Line
- - Component
